- Promotions Data
If you enter an AVOS promotion, sweepstakes, or giveaway, we collect the information you submit (e.g., email address; and, if you win, shipping name/address and any tax forms required by law). We may also collect entry metadata (timestamp, IP, device) to prevent fraud. We use this data to administer the promotion, communicate with entrants, notify and verify winners, comply with legal obligations, and announce winners (e.g., first name, last initial, state, and Instagram handle) as stated in the Official Rules. We share Promotions Data with service providers that help us run the promotion (e.g., form/app provider, email service provider, fulfillment/shipping, analytics/anti-fraud). We do not sell Promotions Data. Retention: entries are kept until the promotion ends and for up to 90 days afterward; winner records (and any required tax records) may be retained longer to comply with law. Marketing: we may use your email to send AVOS marketing consistent with this Privacy Policy; you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link. Promotions are limited to individuals 18+; we do not knowingly collect Promotions Data from persons under 18.

- Partner communications (opt-in). For co-branded promotions, you may see an optional checkbox to receive emails from the specific partners named for that promotion. If you check it, we will share your email and name with those listed partners so they can send marketing communications. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with partners you did not see and did not opt in to. Under California law, partner marketing may be deemed “sale” or “sharing”; we rely on your opt-in and you may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or contacting info@avostherapy.com.
California Shine the Light Law

Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain, once per calendar year, information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year. To obtain this information from us, please email us at info@avostherapy.com write "Request for California Privacy Information" on the subject line of your message, and we will send you a reply email containing the requested information. Not all information sharing is covered by the "Shine the Light" requirements and only covered information sharing will be included in our response.
Children

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to us. For that reason, we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not give us any Personal Information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Site without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
Do Not Track Disclosure
When you visit the Site, we may also collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services. Notice of Financial Incentive (California)
From time to time, AVOS offers promotions that may be considered a “financial incentive” under California law because you provide personal information (e.g., email) in exchange for a chance to win a prize. Material terms. Categories of personal information: identifiers (email; if you win, name and shipping address; and, if required by law in future promotions, tax information). Purpose of collection: administer the promotion, communicate with entrants, verify/fulfill prizes, and send AVOS marketing consistent with this Privacy Policy. Opt-in: by submitting your entry you opt in; participation is voluntary. Right to withdraw: you may withdraw at any time (and still use our site) by contacting info@avostherapy.com or using the unsubscribe link; withdrawal will not affect entries already received. Value of the incentive: the value of your data is reasonably related to the costs of running the promotion (including prize value, administration, and marketing/operational expenses) divided across expected participants; for example, the current prize ARV is $250. We do not provide different prices or services to you for exercising privacy rights.
AVOS does not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, the CCPA defines “sale” broadly, and some of our data sharing (e.g., with service providers or advertising platforms) may be interpreted as a “sale” under CCPA.
